DETROIT, May 29, 2008 – The Detroit Windsor International Film Festival will be announcing the programming lineup for its inaugural year on June 5th.. Housed in the hip, cultural centers of Detroit and Windsor June 26-29th, the public is welcome to screenings at the DIA, College of Creative Studies, University of Windsor, Wayne State University, Detroit Public Library among other venues. The festival is designed to take the veil off the vast, multi-cultural film talent in the Greater Detroit and Windsor area in order to stir up the area’s creative economy, at the same time, celebrating a collective passion for the silver screen
